01 · PUBLISHED FEES
Architect fees in London.
Published fees, fixed in writing before work starts. No hourly billing and no surprises once the service is agreed.
02 · STARTER PACKAGES · PERMITTED DEVELOPMENT
Some work needs no planning application at all. These two packages cover that case as a set fee, at one of two levels depending on the size of the work: the drawings, the certificate that proves the work was allowed, and, in Plans 02, the building regulations application and the technical set your builder works from. They end at handover to your builder.
Not sure whether your project needs planning permission? The free report answers that first, at no cost.
03 · PERMITTED DEVELOPMENT CHECK
Permitted development means the government has already granted permission for certain kinds of work, so no planning application is needed. If your project fits, the starter packages above apply.

04 · FIND YOUR BAND
Bands apply where the work needs a full planning application, and where you want the full service, from the first survey through planning and building regulations to the tender and the contract on site. Find your band first and the figures below are the ones that apply to you.
Enter your address and a little about what you want to achieve, and we will tell you whether your home is listed, sits in a conservation area or falls under an Article 4 direction, what you are allowed to build without planning permission, what your neighbours have already been allowed to build, and what band your projects sits within.
08 · FEE QUESTIONS
The fee ledger is published so you can understand what each stage covers. These answers address the questions homeowners ask before appointing an architect.
